The start before that came from midfield and won by a long-neck in a Mid Cl1 at Gosford on August 6 over 1600m defeating Sirius Moss with 59kg at $1.65. Proven at the trip and looks ready for Group company.

Talented and unbeaten filly hat is now at peak fitness, maps to get a soft run stalking the speed throughout.

Unbeaten filly off a freshen with a nice trial since. Tough to line up, but no doubt facing her hardest test. Beware the unbeaten horse.

Returns after a freshen-up following her last-start win over 1800m at Rosehill, where she led throughout. That same-trip success is an excellent fit; she maps handy again and has strong recent figures.

His late work back to the inside in the Golden Rose was okay, but he has come back dour this time in. 1800m should suit therefore.

Third-up after an eighth in a 1400m G1, beaten 6.6 lengths, having earlier finished 10th in G2 company. His earlier G1 second over 1600m is a stronger reference, but recent efforts need to improve.

The run before that 4th of 10 in the G3 Ming Dynasty Quality at this track on September 12 over 1400m, 1.1 len behind Persian Wonder with 53kg at $4. Blinkers come off and no excuses today on the backup.

Slow out with blinkers first time last week and it proved costly, though he had his chance over the final 200m. Go well.

Fourth-up after a close second in Randwick's 1600m Listed race, beaten 0.1 lengths. His preceding G3 form included a fourth and a second. The rise to 1800m is the main query, but consistent black-type form makes him a leading chance.

Second run from a spell eased back early on 9th of 12 in the G1 Golden Rose Stakes at this track on September 26 over 1400m, 6 len behind Warwoven with 56.5kg at $41. Looking for this trip and can score a long overdue victory.

Enjoyed a good run trailing the speed fresh, but just outgunned late by a lightweight. Never likely in the Golden Rose. This suits better.

Third-up after ninth in a 1400m G1, where he was taken back from a wide draw and hampered at the start. The earlier G3 runner-up effort reads better, while a G1 third over 1600m confirms his class. He remains a live chance despite the latest setback.

Racing on a quick back up. Strong effort to the line to win last time at Randwick and honest performer putting a tidy record together. Matched against a stronger field. Appears tested.

Recent form sound. Last start came from midfield and won by a nose in the LR Dulcify Stakes at Randwick on October 3 over 1600m on a rain affected track defeating Genesis Runner with 56.5kg at $4.40. The start before that ran on from midfield and won by 0.9 len in a Super Mdn at Randwick Kensington on September 9 over 1550m defeating Unhinged carrying 56.5kg at $4.20. Hard to stop in this vein of form.

Backing up after finding plenty to hold out Genesis Runner last Saturday. Meets a couple of classier types now, but right in it.

Now five-up and on a two-win streak, including a 0.1-length victory in a 1600m Listed race last start. He is untested at 1800m, but his recent progress gives him strong claims.

Went from an easy maiden win to a last-start Group 2 third, making the pace and showing plenty of fight. Give thought.

Sixth-up and runner-up in a 1600m G2 last start, beaten 0.4 lengths, after winning her previous start. The forward map is a positive, but the step to 1800m is the key test and limits confidence.

Fifth-up and coming off a 0.6-length win in a Rosehill G3 over 1400m, despite being slowly away and held up. His strong figures keep him in contention, although the step to 1800m is a demanding test.

Strong win last Saturday sitting second in a race where the next three home came from the back half. Quick back-up. Has a future.

This is his third run of the preparation after a 1.2-length maiden win over 1500m at Newcastle. The move to stakes company and the increase to 1800m make this a steep assignment.

Second-up won by a neck in a Mdn-Sw at Hawkesbury on September 24 over 1500m defeating True Tone with 56.5kg at $12. Others seem to have his measure.

Boxed on gamely at debut when unwanted in betting. Led over 1500m and held off subsequent winner True Tone at start two.

Third-up and coming off a 0.4-length maiden win over 1500m at Hawkesbury, having previously placed over 1400m. The jump to 1800m and stronger company is substantial, leaving him with a tough task.

At his fourth run of the preparation, he comes off a 0.4-length maiden win over 1600m at Kembla Grange, after finishing fourth and ninth in earlier maiden starts. The rise to 1800m in stakes company appears too sharp for now.

SCAROLE (6) was sent forward last time out and boxed on to finish a long neck from the winner in third in the G2 Bill Stutt Stakes at Caulfield over 1600m. Has been in solid form this campaign with a win and three minor placings from five starts. Deserves respect on his best figures.

Kept ticking over with a recent 1030m trial win at Rosehill. Has options from the draw and hard to stop with Lloyd aboard. STORMY MARCO (2) unlucky not to win the J J Atkins over 1600m last June and ready to produce third up. Ugly map and ran accordingly when ninth over 1400m in the G1 Golden Rose Stakes at this track. Top three contender. GENESIS RUNNER (5) peaked on the run with a narrow second in the LR Dulcify Stakes over 1600m at Randwick last Saturday. At his top now and no excuses today. CORMIER (1) stakes placed colt held in high regard by the yard. Found the 1400m too sharp when eighth in the Golden Rose Stakes at this track. Gets up to his optimum trip with map favours. Each way. SCAROLE (6) solid performance when third in the G2 Stutt Stakes over the 1600m at Caulfield. Respect.

Pace from 6, 8 and 9. Happy to have a try with SCAROLE as he heads up to Sydney for the first time. Took a while to break out of Maiden grade but there's no knock on that Stutt Stakes run behind Diameter (who had G1 form as a 2YO). GENESIS RUNNER and WONKA back up from their close battle last weekend. Fair to suggest the extra ground is positive for both, if they have recovered appropriately. PROXIMA DEA approaches it fresh off a Sept 22 trial. Unbeaten from three appearances off-season but I wouldn't be at all surprised to see her measure up well.

PROXIMA DEA has yet to taste defeat in 3 starts coming through the grades, including a last start win here by a nose 6 weeks ago. She has options from a good gate, and can get the job done again. 2. STORMY MARCO was beaten by a wide gate in the G1 Golden Rose here 2 weeks ago, and he will relish getting out over a middle distance. He will be hoping for some better luck from another tricky gate, but if he gets the gaps at the right time, he is right up to winning this. 5. GENESIS RUNNER was only beaten by a nose in the Dulcify Stakes at Randwick last week, and he must be a tough colt backing up so quickly. The visors are added, and he is ready to win again at short notice. 1. CORMIER has not had all the favours in his 2 starts back from a spell in hot fields, and this time he can settle a tad closer after drawing in the pole position. Keep him safe at each-way value.
