Awesome win in the Golden Rose, clearly the one to beat off that.

Shared the lead and too strong second up. Ridden off pace and clocked the best last 400m in an impressive Golden Rose win. Rates highly.

Fourth-up after consecutive wins, most recently a decisive top-level 1400m victory by 3.2 lengths. The mile presents a new test, but the form makes a strong case for another win.

Yet to taste defeat in two starts. When well in the market on debut, favourite; won by 1.4 len in a Super Mdn at Hawkesbury on September 10 over 1300m defeating Never Know with 56.5kg at $3.40. Last start favourite; ran on from midfield and won by 1.5 len in a 3yo Bm66 at Cranbourne on September 25 over 1400m defeating Crudens Tycoon with 58.5kg at $1.35. Very progressive but he's very raw, one for the future.

Came from back for clear debut win. Shared lead, beat three rivals latest. Different kettle of fish, but progressive. Same colours/stable as 2019 winner.

Third-up after consecutive wins in a maiden and BM66, the latest by 1.5 lengths over 1400m. The Caulfield Guineas brings a major rise in class and distance, making this a steep task.

Went to the lead in a change of tactics and faded in the Golden Rose. Closed solidly at first two this time in. Rise to 1600m should help.

Racing and Sports

Onto the Caulfield Guineas and again we're looking for a bit of value in he form of TRON BOLT (4) who is already a G1 winner over a mile in the JJ Atkins. His two runs back have been more than enough, given no chance fresh then holding his ground in a brutally run Golden Rose second up. He was at his top throughout there, the step to a mile can see him improve lengths and this has been his grand final all along. WARWOVEN (2) won the Golden Rose brilliantly and smashed the clock in doing so. Can't see a mile posing an issue off that but it was a huge spike, perhaps he regresses just a touch. Regardless, he's the one to beat. Very wary of BLIND RAISE (5) who was dominant winning the Prelude, working early then attacked on the turn but putting a gap on them late. He'll be on speed and run this out strongly. CENTRAL EUROPE (7) went way too fast in the Golden Rose and could improve from DIAMETER (6) who won the Stutt Stakes, albeit that looks the inferior form line.

Best Bets

Blind Raise can hold the fence and lead with Warwoven also going forward. They shouldn't go hard early. BLIND RAISE has impressed winning both runs this time in and from barrier two will be hard to beat again. TRON BOLT is ticking along okay and racing like the rise to 1600m will suit. WARWOVEN was dominant in the Golden Rose and has to be a strong chance. James McDonald taking the mount on CENTRAL EUROPE looks significant. The Frankel colt was okay two back before working on pace and fading in the Golden Rose. DIAMETER, SOMETHINGS BURNIN', WOLF GAP and CALL ME COACH have place claims.

The Group 1 Caulfield Guineas is another very open race for 3YO's, and for 3 million dollars it will be hotly contested. 4. TRON BOLT will appreciate the step up to 1600m after a couple of solid efforts this season in Sydney. He cops another wide draw, but is expected to be among the hardest to beat in this. 2. WARWOVEN sat on the pace when winning the G2 Run To The Rose, and then came from off the leaders to score a dominant win in the G1 Golden Rose 2 weeks ago. The extra 200m won't bother him, and the hat-trick beckons. 5. BLIND RAISE was an easy winner of the McKenzie Stakes fresh up, and then was even more impressive when taking out the Guineas Prelude here 3 weeks ago. He is perfectly poised to add a G1 win to his record here. 7. CENTRAL EUROPE had to use up to much energy to find the front in the Golden Rose at Rosehill last start, and understandably weakened in the run home. JMac is back in the saddle, and he is worth another chance.

WARWOVEN (2) maps off the pace, while BLIND RAISE (5) looks the likely leader, placing the favourite's timing from behind in focus. WARWOVEN (2) arrives on the back of consecutive wins, most recently a decisive top-level 1400m victory by 3.2 lengths, and sets the market standard. BLIND RAISE (5) has also won his last two, including a 1400m stakes race by 2.8 lengths, and should have the opportunity to dictate. TRON BOLT (4) has a top-level mile win to his name, but his backmarker map is the key challenge. CENTRAL EUROPE (7) has earlier stakes placings, though needs to bounce back from a top-level 10th last start.
