Ran home strongly to win last time here but challenged by more formidable competitors.

Second-up. First-up after four months ran on from midfield and won by a long-neck in a Bm88 at this track on September 19 over 1100m defeating She's An Artist carrying 60.5kg at $5. Previously second-up won by 0.5 len in a Bm78 at Hawkesbury on May 2 over 1100m defeating Wanaruah carrying 60kg at $1.80. Tested at this level.

Got a lovely run first up and sprinted sharply when called upon, winning nicely. Unbeaten at 1200m, but this is much tougher.

Won a BM88 over 1100m last start and now progresses to the second run of the campaign. The rise from BM88 level and backmarker map make this a difficult task.

TEMPTED (10) finished last campaign a winner of the ARROWFIELD 3YO SPRINT then was a fresh up winner in the G2 Concorde Stakes at this track. Has never missed the frame when second up and can measure up again. NINJA (4) resumed with a win at this track then missed the placings last time over 1100m in the G2 The Shorts at this track, finishing 2 lengths from the winner. Has never missed the frame when third-up from a break so he is among the leading chances. HEADWALL (3) lines up on the back of a one length fifth over 1100m at this track as favourite. This sets up nicely. SAVVY HALLIE (13) was unwanted in betting last time but scored by a long neck over 1200m in the G2 Sheraco Stakes at Rosehill. Form here at this distance is sound with two wins and two minor placings from five starts. Deserves respect on best figures.

Dabble

TEMPTED (10) Ran on hard when winning last run at the track and have to respect the form at the trip. Jockey Chad Schofield has been successful aboard previously. Appears as a winning threat. MARHOONA (12) Came in 6th last run at this venue. Zac Lloyd and Michael Freedman are usually competitive when they team up. Should be competitive in this race at a bit of odds. MAZU (1) Led and controlled the pace to win by a margin of a long neck last run at the track. Has the early speed to burn across from the wide alley. Ticks plenty of boxes and looks like value . GENEROSITY (11) Came in 7th last start at Sandown but back in an easier grade. James Mcdonald rates highly aboard. Finished 6th in a barrier trial at Rosehill Gardens on Sept 22nd. Strong each way bet.

TEMPTED (10) one of the best sprinting mares in the country who made a mess of them first up when taking out the G2 Concorde Stakes over 1000m at this track in grand style. Since fitted with a 1030m trial and gets the right set-up with the fast tempo. The one to beat. SAVVY HALLIE (13) bounced back quickly second up at the big odds when leading throughout over 1200m in the G2 Sheraco Stakes at Rosehill. Best figures measure up and Rawiller retains the ride. Each way. MARHOONA (12) peaked on the run first up when sixth in the G2 Concorde over 1000m. Improver. CABALLUS (2) produced a moderate performance at his last start when sixth to Jigsaw over 1200m at Ascot five-and-a-half months ago. Trialling well and performs well fresh. Include.

Palmerbet

TEMPTED (10) was awesome resuming in the Concorde over 1000m at Randwick and the stretch to 1200m suits her brilliant finishing burst even better, so she holds the strongest claims second-up. MAZU (1) led throughout for his upset in The Shorts first-up and guarantees this is run at genuine speed. SAVVY HALLIE (13) led all the way to win the Sheraco over the same trip, has placed third-up in the past, and looms as the danger. PLAINTIFF (15) closed off strongly from last when fourth, beaten under a length in that Sheraco first-up, and sharpens further second-up. The hotter they go up front, the better for the finishers.

Best Bets

MAZU (placed in this race all three attempts) can lead as he did 1st-up. Other speedsters here are 13 and 14. TEMPTED is a verified star and when you're looking at a mare whose only defeat at the track is an Everest 2nd to Ka Ying Rising....well, she's the obvious. NINJA and HEADWALL step away and if they both brought their best here they may have threatened. PLAINTIFF went back to last 1st-up from an outside drawn now there's a rel chance she could set up closer. We still haven't seen the best of her.

The Group 2 Premiere Stakes is worth a million dollars over 1200m. 10. TEMPTED ended her 3YO season with a hat-trick of wins, and has picked up right from where she left off by winning the G2 Concorde Stakes fresh up here 4 weeks ago. She will get back, so the wide draw is not a big issue, and she can have the last say again. 13. SAVVY HALLIE crossed over to lead from a wide gate and was too slick thereafter, scoring by a neck in the G2 Sheraco Stakes at Rosehill 3 weeks ago. She looks like getting another uncontested lead in this, and should be hard to peg back. 12. MARHOONA strips fitter second up, and the extra 200m will suit her. Each way value. 1. MAZU was a big winner fresh up in the G2 Shorts here 2 weeks ago, and even from a wide gate, he is still a top 3 chance.

TEMPTED should enjoy a stalking run behind a busy speed, with CABALLUS pressing forward, KING'S SECRET tracking into the race and MAZU rolling forward. TEMPTED brings the strongest recent figures and won a Randwick G2 over 1000m last start, making the favourite difficult to beat at 1200m. CABALLUS resumes off a recent trial win and owns a G1 victory over this distance, providing a class advantage fresh. KING'S SECRET was a close G2 third last time; the weight rise is the key test, although the form is strong. MAZU won a Randwick G2 last start and maps to lead again, with the weight rise the main concern. TEMPTED is the preference, ahead of CABALLUS, KING'S SECRET and MAZU.
