On a three run winning streak. At the latest run favourite; tracked the speed and boxed on steadily; won by 2.25 len in the G1 King Charles Iii Stakes at Randwick on October 17 over 1609m on a soft track defeating Ceolwulf with 57kg at $1.26. The run before that favourite; won by 1.3 len in the G2 7 Stakes at Randwick on September 19 over 1600m defeating Aeliana with 57kg at $1.16. Champion mare, best in the country and gets her chance to show it on the biggest stage.

She is just about perfect, what else can one say?! Should win again.

Five starts into the preparation, she arrives on the back of three straight wins, capped by a 2.2-length G1 mile success at Randwick last start. Her on-speed map and proven class make her the horse to beat.

Good performance to run into 2nd beaten by 1L last time at Randwick but competing in a more challenging class. Has very good closing speed. Limited possibility.

Racing well recently. Last start 2nd of 8 in the G2 Craven Plate at Randwick on October 24 over 1800m, 1.0 len behind Lindermann with 59kg at $3.10. Before that 3rd of 16 in the G1 Epsom Handicap at Randwick on October 3 over 1600m, on a slow track; 2.75 len behind God's Window carrying 57.5kg at $31. Good off slow speed last time, proven here.

Comes back in trip but is hard fit, racing well and he likes the Flemington 1600m. Should not be far away.

Eight runs into the preparation, he was runner-up in the G2 over 1800m last start, beaten a length, and now returns to the mile. His G1 mile win at Flemington earlier this year supports his claims, and the midfield map gives him every chance.

Led from start to finish to win by a margin of 1L last time at Randwick and showing improvement in recent outings. Won't be far away during the run. Place claims.

Form hard to fault. Most recently favourite; won by 1.0 len in the G2 Craven Plate at Randwick on October 24 over 1800m defeating Tom Kitten with 59kg at $2.25. The run before that rolled along in front then was edged out late 2nd of 8 in the G2 Hill Stakes at Rosehill on October 10 over 1900m, neck behind Attrition carrying 59kg at $1.70. Back to a mile and some query in Melbourne but he's going well.

Won the Chelmsford over this trip in early September. Didn't relish Caulfield next time out, solid in two since. Should be honest as usual.

Ten runs into the preparation, he led throughout to win the G2 over 1800m last start by a length. His front-running map and recent G2 success make him a major danger.

Most recently made ground from midfield; 2nd of 11 in the G2 Crystal Mile at this track on October 24 over 1600m, 0.5 len behind Surfin' Bird carrying 57kg at $4.60. The start before that ran second last of 13 in the G1 Turnbull Stakes at this track on October 3 over 2000m, on rain affected going; 28 len behind Cosmic Crusader with 55kg at $17. Very good off slow speed last time, will be finishing well.

Hasn't won since the 2024 Underwood but has run some excellent races. Good to the line in the Crystal Mile. Each-way show again.

Ten runs into the preparation, he finished second in the G2 mile last start, beaten half a length after being hampered at the start. That strong return to form keeps him firmly among the winning chances.

Was $4.20 and only fair when 15th last time at Rosehill and testing ability against stronger contenders. Could be in the mix.

Third-up today and won third-up previously. Resuming 2nd of 16 in the G1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes at Caulfield on September 19 over 1400m, 0.8 len behind Angel Capital with 56.5kg at $11. Second run from a spell ran last of 15 in the G3 Alan Brown Stakes at Rosehill on October 10 over 1400m, 12 len behind Formal Display with 58kg at $4.20. Awful last time but his Melbourne form is rock solid.

That's now two poor runs at Rosehill so happy to put a pen through that last run and give him another chance here.

Five runs into the preparation, he finished 15th in the G3 over 1400m last start, beaten 12.8 lengths, after placing second in the G1 at Caulfield. Two unplaced runs over the mile make the trip a genuine query despite that earlier Group 1 placing.

At the latest run sat on speed throughout when 3rd of 11 in the G2 Crystal Mile at this track on October 24 over 1600m, 1.5 len behind Surfin' Bird with 57kg at $7. Before that ran second last in a small field in the G2 John F Feehan Stakes at Caulfield on September 27 over 1600m, 5.5 len behind Pride Of Jenni carrying 59kg at $5.50. Okay latest but this is much tougher.

Loves Flemington, loves this trip and was sound in the Crystal Mile two weeks ago. Include again.

Seven runs into the preparation, he placed third in the G2 over this mile last start, 1.5 lengths away, following a G1 third at the distance. He is reliable over the mile but needs to improve on those margins to threaten the leading chances.

Last start 14th of 16 in the G1 Golden Eagle at Randwick on October 31 over 1500m, 6 len behind Skyhook with 55.5kg at $31. Outclassed.

Beat only a couple home after getting back in the Golden Eagle second up. Fitter again but this looks a tough test for him.

Five runs into the preparation, she finished 14th in the G1 over 1500m last start, beaten 6.3 lengths, after placing fifth in a Listed race. That latest defeat means she needs a sharp turnaround.

Dual acceptor. Second run back. First-up after four months ran second last of 9 in a Bm84 at Geelong on October 21 over 1200m, 5 len behind Immortal Star carrying 58.5kg at $71. Previously second-up ran second last of 14 in a Hcp at Caulfield on June 27 over 1400m, slow going 24 len behind Coeur Volante carrying 54kg at $71. Be surprised if he beat one home.

Sound to the line first up in a race not run to suit but this is just too tough for him.

Seven runs into the preparation, he finished eighth in a BM84 over 1200m at Geelong last start, beaten 4.9 lengths, after a distant 13th at Caulfield. The substantial rise in trip and his latest form make him hard to recommend.

AUTUMN GLOW (8) showed good early pace over 1609m in the G1 King Charles Iii Stakes at Randwick last time and kept going to score by 2.25 lengths. Has the ability to produce another positive result. LINDERMANN (2) is a last-start winner over 1800m in the G2 Craven Plate at Randwick, showing good early speed on the occasion and leading throughout to score by one length. Goes up a notch this time but should measure up. SEPALS (4) returns from a short break after finishing 15th over 1400m in the G3 Alan Brown Stakes at Rosehill four weeks ago. Fitness should hold up after a recent Mornington trial placing. Rates highly and is among the main hopes. TOM KITTEN (1) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second in the G2 Craven Plate at Randwick over 1800m. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role.

AUTUMN GLOW (8) Rounded them up to win last start at Randwick and has a good draw. Flawless this preparation with 3 wins from 3 runs. Looks suited and should just win this. TOM KITTEN (1) Ran home into 2nd beaten by 1L last time at Randwick but taking on stronger opponents. Expected to be flashing home. Use betting as best guide. SEPALS (4) Was nothing special when 15th last time at Rosehill and up against a higher level of opposition. Will relish the track conditions. One at a bit of odds. LINDERMANN (2) Set the pace when winning by 1L last time at Randwick and on an upward trajectory in recent races. Should come to hand quickly. Racing consistently this campaign. One to watch closely and a legitimate knockout hope.

Racing and Sports

Excited to see AUTUMN GLOW (8) come down to Flemington and play away from home for the first time. There's little doubt she's the best horse in Australia and up there with the best milers in the world. She's completely bombproof off slow or fast tempos and on all ground and J-Mac should have plenty of time to think of his finishing post salute. Outside of her there's a group of them with similar chances. TOM KITTEN (1) couldn't run down LINDERMANN (2) in the Craven Plate last time, LINDERMANN afforded another very easy lead but winning well. TOM KITTEN is an All Star Mile winner here and LINDERMANN flopped in Melbourne, albeit that was Caulfield and Flemington should suit better. LINDERMANN doesn't want the rain. Speaking of flops, SEPALS (4) has gone awfully his past two runs in Sydney. 2nd to Angel Capital in a high pressure Rupert Clarke fresh says he can bounce back. BUCKAROO (3) was excellent from a hopeless spot here last time and will be running on.

Best Bets

Lindermann to lead at his own moderate tempo from Another Wil and Autumn Glow. AUTUMN GLOW is a star and should be too strong again. LINDERMANN struggled at Caulfield three back. He's been good in both runs since and was beaten in a photo at his only Flemington run. TOM KITTEN had every chance to run him down last time, but he has won the past two All-Star Miles over this track/trip. BUCKAROO will be competitive as usual. He finished second, with ANOTHER WIL a length behind him, here last time.

Racing Central

LINDERMANN (2) is likely to set the pace, with AUTUMN GLOW (8) close enough to track him and make the first move. AUTUMN GLOW (8) brings three consecutive wins, most recently a 2.2-length G1 mile success, and has the strongest recent case.
