MAD MONDAY (4) is looking for black-type success after taking out a much weaker race at his latest appearance over 2130m at this track, scoring by 12 metres. Should enjoy a lovely run and looks a genuine contender again. CYCLONE JORDY (9) comes back in grade after finding Runkle Crunch too classy last start, beaten 21 metres into ninth at Group Three level over 2130m at this track. Top-shelf performer who is well-placed to atone. BELLY UP (2) brings good form to this contest after finishing third to Runkle Crunch at Group Three level over 2130m at this track at his latest appearance. Drawn well so another big run will not surprise.

RUNKLE CRUNCH (5) Made all when winning by 3.7m last start at this venue. Expecting to settle positively. Has run into the money all attempts this campaign. Strong chance. MAD MONDAY (4) Dictated the tempo when winning by 12.8m last run at this track and proven runner at this distance. Has plenty of early speed. Ticks plenty of boxes and looks like value . SOHO SHAKEDOWN (12) Was well beaten when 11th last time at Pinjarra but ideal trip as proven previously. Should race on the speed. Going well this preparation. Will be there at the finish.

RUNKLE CRUNCH (5) put the writing on the wall with a fresh placing from the back row in the Chandon Classic at Pinjarra then took advantage of a better draw last time, leading for a 3.7m win in the 4YO Championship at this circuit and distance. Should push forward again from this barrier so can go on with it. MAD MONDAY (4) impressed when resuming last week, working forward to lead from a wider draw before cruising home by close to 13m. This is stronger but he should be improved and is building an imposing record at this circuit and distance. The winning run of CYCLONE JORDY (9) came to an end last start but he did have to work and was only second-up after a year on the sidelines. Draws out but he had been the benchmark horse of this generation before that layoff so must be given another chance. BELLY UP (2) has done well to place in Group races at his last couple and is worth including from another low draw.
