The web app that places.
A browser extension that places bets from marketmover.net with your own bookmaker logins, at your instruction, under limits you set. The Pro edition's model, without the Mac.
How it works
- Log in where you always do. Open the book's site in a tab and log in the normal way, captcha and all. The extension reads the session the site made in your browser; it never sees a password.
- Tap a price. On any race in the web app a price becomes a betslip button. The betslip quotes the leg through the extension at the book's price now.
- Confirm within 45 seconds. The confirm sheet shows the stake, the price, the return, the balance, and how far the price moved since you tapped. Confirm takes the price on offer; the window lapsing means quoting again.
- Placed once, written down. The bet goes to the book's own API from your machine, is confirmed by the book, and lands in your ledger: My Bets shows it with the receipt, on every device with your key.
Which books
Unibet first, being proven now. Then TAB, PointsBet, BetR, Palmerbet, Picklebet, Ladbrokes and Neds, and Betfair's back and lay with the order watch. Each book is proven with a real bet before it is switched on. Dabble has no web site to log into and stays prices only. On a phone there is no extension: the web app stays what it is.
Getting it
Not in the stores yet. The Chrome Web Store, Edge Add-ons and Firefox listings follow the first proven book. Until then the web app works as it does today, and Settings says so.
Questions
Does it need a plan?
The extension is free. It places with the key the web app already holds; Pro on the Mac is the same model in a native app.
What does it keep?
Your limits, the date you accepted the terms, and a local copy of the bets it placed, all in your browser's own storage. The bets themselves go to your ledger under your key so your other devices show them. Nothing about you.
Can it cash out?
No. It never will. It places the bet you confirm and reads the book's word on it afterwards.
What if the book does not answer?
It reads your bets back from the book for a minute. Not found, it asks you to look at the book's site and say whether the bet landed, and places nothing more at that book until you do.
Read this first
MarketMover places bets with your own bookmaker accounts, from this browser, at your instruction.
It is your account, your money and your risk. MarketMover holds no funds and cannot cash out. A bookmaker may refuse a bet, close an account, or treat placement through an extension as against its terms; that is between you and the bookmaker. The limits in Settings are yours to set and are checked before every bet, but they are not a substitute for your own judgement.
You confirm that you are 18 or over, that the accounts you link are yours, and that you accept these terms. You will be asked again every 90 days.
The extension asks you to accept these words before its first bet, and again every 90 days.
